Overview
There are some devices that you wish to ensure are running that don't have any type of standard monitoring interface. This leaves the PING. If a device will respond to a ping, VitalSigns can verify that will respond to a ping and time the response. Alerts can be triggered if the response time exceeds the target. Response Times can be graphed. Availability is calculated by adding 1 to the up count every time the device responds to a ping.
